Before application:
- Remove weak or damaged concrete.
- Cut back to sound concrete (minimum 10 mm depth).
- Remove dust, oil, grease, rust, and contaminants.
- Saturate absorbent substrates with clean water.
- Grit blast corroded reinforcing steel.
- Replace severely corroded reinforcement if required.
- Saw-cut repair edges.
- Clean thoroughly using a brush or compressed air.
Yes. Reinforcing steel should be treated with a corrosion inhibitor, and the concrete substrate should be primed using WHITE SAND PRIME RC acrylic primer and bonding agent. Apply the repair mortar while the primer remains tacky.
Mix approximately 4 liters of clean water per 20 kg bag. Slowly add the powder while mixing with a grout mixer or slow-speed drill fitted with a high-shear paddle. Mix for at least 3 minutes until smooth and homogeneous. Do not prepare partial mixes.
Apply the mortar by hand or steel trowel while pressing it firmly against the substrate and reinforcing steel to ensure complete compaction and adhesion. Finish with a wooden or plastic float before completing the final finish using a steel float.
For thick vertical and overhead repairs, apply the mortar gradually in firmly pressed layers or patches to achieve optimum adhesion between the substrate and subsequent layers.
After application, cure the repair mortar by continuous water curing and covering it with polyethylene sheets, or use the WHITE SAND Cure curing compound to minimize moisture loss.

The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored unopened in a dry, shaded location below 35°C under proper warehouse conditions.
