Before applying WHITE SAND REP S 100:
- Remove all weak and damaged concrete.
- Cut back to sound concrete to a minimum depth of 10 mm.
- Clean away dust, grease, oil, rust, and contaminants.
- Saturate absorbent substrates with clean water.
- Grit blast corroded reinforcing steel.
- Replace severely corroded reinforcement if necessary.
- Saw-cut repair edges.
- Clean the repair area thoroughly using a brush or compressed air.
Yes. Reinforcing steel should be coated with a corrosion inhibitor. The concrete surface should then be primed with WHITE SAND PRIME RC acrylic primer and bonding agent, and the repair mortar should be applied while the primer remains tacky.
Mix approximately 4.0 liters of clean water with one 25 kg bag. Slowly add the powder while mixing with a grout mixer or slow-speed drill fitted with a high-shear paddle. Mix continuously for at least 3 minutes until a smooth, homogeneous consistency is achieved. Do not prepare partial mixes.
Apply the mortar by hand or with a steel trowel. Firmly compact the mortar against the substrate and reinforcing steel. Level the surface with a wooden or plastic float, then complete the final finish using a steel float.
For thicker vertical and overhead repairs, apply the mortar gradually by hand in firmly pressed layers or patches to ensure proper adhesion between the substrate and successive layers.
Cure the repair mortar by continuous water curing and covering it with polyethylene sheets, or apply WHITE SAND Cure curing compound to reduce moisture loss and promote proper strength development.
Clean tools and equipment immediately with clean water before the mortar hardens. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored unopened in a dry, shaded location below 35°C under proper warehouse conditions.
