ANTI-BF GROUT is a single-component, polymer-modified cementitious tile grout developed for hygienic and moisture-exposed areas.
The product contains special biocides that help inhibit biological agents and prevent the growth of bacteria, algae and fungi. Once mixed with clean water, it produces a smooth, creamy and easily workable mortar.
ANTI-BF GROUT is suitable for ceramic, porcelain, glass mosaic, marble and granite joints up to approximately 10 mm wide. Its low water permeability, stain resistance and abrasion resistance make it suitable for hospitals, clinics, kitchens, bathrooms, healthcare facilities and food-processing plants.

Joint Preparation
Ensure that all tiles are firmly installed and that the tile adhesive has cured completely before grouting.
Remove excess adhesive, dust, dirt and debris from the joints to obtain a uniform grout depth. Do not leave standing or pooled water inside the joints.
Natural stone and unglazed tiles may absorb fine grout particles and become discolored. Test the mixed grout on a spare tile before application and consult the tile manufacturer regarding a suitable protective sealer.
Mixing
Place approximately 3–3.5 litres of clean water in a clean mixing container for each 10 kg bag.
Slowly add ANTI-BF GROUT powder to the water while mixing continuously.
Mix mechanically until a smooth, homogeneous and easily workable creamy mortar is obtained.
Do not add more water than recommended, as excessive water may extend drying time, reduce compressive strength and affect color consistency.
Do not add water to grout that has begun to lose workability.
When working over a large area, use grout from the same production batch and maintain an identical water ratio for every mix.
Application
Apply the mixed grout using a rubber squeegee, rubber grout float or smooth sponge.
Work the grout firmly and consistently into the joints.
Ensure that all joints are completely filled without voids.
Remove excess material from the tile surface as work proceeds.
Remove fine grout residues using a lightly damp cloth or sponge within approximately two hours.
After the joints have dried and hardened, polish the surface using a clean, dry cloth.
Yield and Coverage
The required grout quantity depends on tile length, tile width, joint width, joint depth and the total tiled area.
The approximate amount of grout required per square metre can be estimated using the following equation:
All dimensions must be entered using the same unit. Multiply the result by the total tiled area to estimate the overall grout quantity.
Cleaning
Clean tools immediately after use with clean water. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
Storage and Shelf Life
ANTI-BF GROUT has a minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in unopened and undamaged original bags under dry warehouse conditions at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C.
Packaging
10 kg bags.
Health and Safety
Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles during mixing and application.
Avoid unnecessary contact with the skin and eyes.
In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and clean water.
In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean, cold water.
Seek medical advice if irritation continues.
The product is non-flammable and is not classified as hazardous under current legislation.
