PORCELAIN WHITE SAND is a high-quality, polymer-modified cementitious tile adhesive formulated to be mixed with clean water to produce a high-performance, easy-to-apply adhesive mortar. It provides high bond strength, excellent workability and slump-free, anti-slip performance for installing porcelain, marble, natural stone and ceramic tiles on floors and walls.
PORCELAIN WHITE SAND consists of Portland cement, specialized polymeric materials, graded silica sand, selected fillers and special chemical additives. These materials are carefully selected to improve bonding performance, mechanical properties and application characteristics.

Substrate Preparation
All surfaces must be sound, clean and free from dust, oil, grease, paint, loosely adhering particles and any contaminants that may reduce adhesion.
Cement laitance and weak surface layers must be removed. Depending on the substrate condition, wire brushing, sandblasting, water blasting or grinding may be used to clean and prepare the surface.
New concrete substrates should be at least four weeks old, depending on climatic conditions and the condition of the concrete.
Dampen all surfaces with clean water before application, except gypsum boards. The substrate should appear damp without standing or pooled water.
Mixing
Place approximately 5 litres of clean water in a suitable mixing container for each 20 kg bag.
Slowly add PORCELAIN WHITE SAND powder to the water while mixing.
Use a slow-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable mixing paddle.
Mix for at least two minutes until a smooth, homogeneous and slump-free consistency is achieved.
Allow the mixture to stand for 5–10 minutes, then remix briefly before application.
Do not add water after the adhesive mixture begins to harden.
Application
Apply the mixed adhesive to the prepared substrate and press it firmly onto the surface using a trowel.
Comb the adhesive using a suitably sized notched trowel in straight ribs to obtain a uniform adhesive bed.
Spread only the amount of adhesive that can be tiled within 10–15 minutes.
Place the tiles within the open time and press them firmly into the adhesive with a slight twisting action to ensure full contact.
Adjust the tile position within 10–15 minutes after installation.
Use suitable tile spacers to control the joint width.
Ensure that the tiles are fully supported and that no voids remain underneath.
Remove excess adhesive from the tile surface and joints with a damp cloth before it sets.
Leave the installed tiles undisturbed for at least 48 hours.
The adhesive must not rise above half the tile thickness inside the joints.
WHITE SAND TILE GROUT is recommended for filling the joints after 24 hours.
Yield and Coverage
One 20 kg bag of PORCELAIN WHITE SAND covers approximately 4.5–5.5 m².
The stated coverage is approximate. Actual consumption may vary depending on substrate condition, surface level, trowel size, tile size, application thickness, installation method and material wastage.
Cleaning
Clean all tools with water immediately after completing the application. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
Storage and Shelf Life
PORCELAIN WHITE SAND has a minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in its unopened and undamaged original packaging in a dry, shaded place, away from moisture and direct sunlight, at an ambient temperature below 35°C.
