Preparation

WHITE SAND CURE S100 is supplied ready to use and must not be diluted.

Agitate the curing compound thoroughly before application. Do not use a high-speed mixer.

When applying to hardened concrete, ensure that the surface is structurally sound and free from oil, grease, stains and other contaminants that may prevent adhesion.

Application to Fresh Concrete

1. Apply WHITE SAND CURE S100 approximately 30 minutes after the surface water has evaporated from the fresh concrete.
2. Apply using a suitable knapsack or motorized sprayer capable of producing a fine mist.
3. Carry out a trial application to confirm that the spraying equipment is suitable.
4. Hold the spray nozzle approximately 450 mm from the concrete surface.
5. Move the nozzle evenly back and forth to obtain complete and uniform coverage.
6. Maintain sufficient pump pressure to produce a fine, even spray.
7. No additional water or other curing material is required after application.
8. Do not disturb the treated surface until the concrete has developed sufficient strength.
9. Do not walk on the applied film until it is completely dry.

Application to Hardened Concrete

1. WHITE SAND CURE S100 may be applied manually when spraying equipment is unavailable.
2. Use a soft brush, broom or wide roller.
3. Apply only after the concrete has hardened sufficiently to avoid surface damage.
4. The product may be applied immediately after removing the formwork from newly hardened concrete.

Overcoating

WHITE SAND CURE S100 may be applied over suitable previously treated substrates. A small trial area is recommended to confirm compatibility and the required performance.

Before overcoating, ensure that the surface is completely free from oil, stains and materials that may interfere with adhesion.

Yield and Coverage

WHITE SAND CURE S100 covers approximately 4–6 m² per litre.

The stated coverage is approximate. Actual consumption depends on the substrate condition, application method and material wastage.

Storage and Shelf Life

WHITE SAND CURE S100 has a minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in its unopened original container in a cool, suitable warehouse environment, away from direct sunlight, at an ambient temperature below 35°C.
