Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be sound, clean and free from mould oil, dust, loose particles, projecting material and contaminants. Remove all weak or loosely adhering material.

Dampen the surface before application without leaving standing water.

Mixing

1. Use approximately 4 litres of clean water for each 20 kg bag.
2. Slowly add COLORED PLASTER powder to the water while mixing.
3. Use a slow-speed drill fitted with a high-shear paddle.
4. Mix for at least three minutes until homogeneous and uniform in consistency and color.
5. Use the material within its one-hour pot life.
6. Do not remix hardened material.
7. Maintain the same water ratio for every batch to preserve color consistency.

Application and Finishing

1. Apply the mixed plaster using a steel trowel.
2. Place and compact the mortar firmly against the substrate.
3. Build the required thickness in layers up to a total of 10 mm.
4. Allow each layer to stiffen before applying the next layer.
5. Finish using a wooden float, plastic float, trowel or damp sponge.
6. Do not add or spray water during the finishing stage.

Curing

Keep the applied surface moist for three days. During hot, dry or windy conditions, continue fine water spraying for an additional two days.

Yield and Coverage

The TDS states approximate coverage of 1.4 m² per 20 kg bag at an average thickness of 4 mm.

Cleaning

Clean tools immediately after use with clean water. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.

Storage and Shelf Life

COLORED PLASTER has a minimum shelf life of 12 months in unopened original packaging stored dry and shaded below 35°C.

Packaging

• 20 kg paper bags.

• Wear protective gloves, goggles and a dust mask.
• Avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
• Wash skin contact using soap and water.
• Rinse eye contact immediately with plenty of clean water.
• Seek medical advice if irritation continues.
• The product is non-flammable.
