Surface Preparation

Surfaces and application areas must be properly prepared, clean and free from dust, loose material, oil, grease, laitance and other contaminants that may impair performance.

Mixing and Preparation

For each 25 kg bag, add approximately 9-10 litres of clean water. Slowly add the powder and mix using a low-speed drill for at least 2 minutes until smooth and lump-free. Allow to stand for about 5 minutes and remix.

Application

Apply with a painter’s putty knife; do not use a mason’s trowel. Build up thin layers and allow each layer to dry. Sand the final coat with fine-grade sandpaper and apply paint only after complete drying. Under high temperature or strong wind, cure periodically with water for at least 48 hours.

Cleaning

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use and before the material hardens. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.

Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles.
Avoid unnecessary contact with skin and eyes.
Wash skin with soap and clean water after contact.
Rinse eyes immediately with plenty of clean, cold water and seek medical advice if irritation continues.
Follow applicable local disposal requirements and do not dispose of material in water or soil.
