Substrate Preparation
New concrete and cementitious surfaces must be allowed to cure for at least 28 days before applying the primer or decorative coating system.
The substrate must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, salts, mold, curing compounds, release agents, weak areas and other contaminants that may reduce adhesion.
Remove old paint completely from previously painted surfaces. Repair cracks, holes, protrusions and other surface defects using a suitable filling or repair material.
Application Conditions
- The substrate temperature during application must not be below 10°C.
- The substrate moisture content must not exceed 8%.
- The relative humidity in the working area must not exceed 70%.
- The substrate pH must not exceed 9.
- Do not apply to wet or damp surfaces.
- Do not apply a subsequent coat until the previous coat is completely dry.
Application
- Stir TEXTURE WHITE SAND thoroughly before application.
- If required, add a suitable small quantity of clean tap water to obtain the appropriate application viscosity.
- Apply evenly using suitable spray equipment or a roller.
- Maintain a consistent application method to produce a uniform texture.
- Allow each coat to dry completely before applying a subsequent coat.
- Protect the applied coating from contamination until sufficiently dry.
Yield and Coverage
The theoretical coverage is approximately 1.0-1.5 m² per kilogram.
Actual consumption depends on substrate condition, surface texture, application method, ambient temperature, applied thickness and material wastage.
Drying
Drying time depends on air circulation, ambient temperature, relative humidity, applied film thickness and the number of coats. Additional coats must only be applied when the preceding coat is completely dry and free from contamination.
Cleaning
Clean tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
Storage and Shelf Life
TEXTURE WHITE SAND has a minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in its tightly closed original container in a cool, dry and well-ventilated location, protected from heat and direct sunlight.

Health and Safety
- Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles.
- Avoid unnecessary contact with the skin and eyes.
- In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and clean water.
- In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean, cold water.
- Seek medical advice if irritation continues.
- The product is non-flammable and is not classified as hazardous under current legislation.
- Do not dispose of the material in water or soil.
- Follow applicable local disposal regulations.
