Water-Based Primer and Sealer for Interior Surfaces
WHITE SAND PRIMER SEALER – INTERIOR is a high-quality, water-based primer formulated from a specialized acrylic polymer for interior concrete, gypsum and cement-plaster surfaces.
The product penetrates porous substrates, regulates surface absorption and improves the adhesion and hiding power of subsequent decorative coatings. It provides high resistance to water, alkalinity and salts while offering fast drying, ultra-low VOC content and extremely low odour.
Fills surface porosity and regulates substrate absorption.
Improves the hiding power of subsequent topcoats.
Excellent adhesion to properly prepared substrates.
Promotes excellent adhesion of subsequent coating layers.
High resistance to alkalinity and salts.
High resistance to water.
High durability.
Fast-drying formulation.
Ultra-low VOC content.
Extremely low odour.
Free from formaldehyde, ammonia and APEOs.
Non-flammable and easy to clean with water.
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be structurally sound, clean and free from dust, oil, grease, loose particles and other contaminants or foreign materials that may reduce adhesion.
Remove weak or loosely adhering material using a suitable mechanical preparation method. Fill cracks, holes and surface imperfections with a compatible repair or filling compound before applying WHITE SAND PRIMER SEALER – INTERIOR.
Application Conditions
The substrate temperature during application must not be below 10°C.
The substrate moisture content must not exceed 8%.
The relative humidity in the working area must not exceed 70%.
The substrate pH must not exceed 9.
Do not apply to wet or damp surfaces.
Provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Mixing and Dilution
Stir WHITE SAND PRIMER SEALER – INTERIOR carefully before application. If required, add a suitable quantity of clean tap water to obtain the correct application viscosity.
The amount of added water depends on substrate porosity, application equipment and ambient conditions. Avoid excessive dilution.
Application
Ensure that the substrate is correctly prepared and completely dry.
Apply the primer uniformly using a suitable roller, brush or spray equipment.
Ensure complete coverage without puddling or excessive material accumulation.
Allow the applied primer to dry for at least two hours at 25°C.
Do not apply the subsequent coating until the primer is completely dry.
Protect the primed surface from dust and contamination before applying the topcoat.
Yield and Coverage
WHITE SAND PRIMER SEALER – INTERIOR covers approximately 12 m² per kilogram at a dry-film thickness of 50 microns.
The stated coverage is approximate. Actual consumption depends on substrate porosity, surface condition, ambient temperature, application method, actual film thickness and material wastage.
Cleaning
Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after completing the work. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
Storage and Shelf Life
WHITE SAND PRIMER SEALER – INTERIOR has a minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in its unopened and undamaged original packaging in a dry and shaded location, protected from direct sunlight, at an ambient temperature below 35°C.
